WordPress Designer Tip #1: How to Install a WordPress Theme

To upload a WordPress theme:

Step 1: Log in to your Dashboard and to go Appearance > Themes.

Step 2: Click the “Install” tab at the top of the page.

Step 3: Click the “Upload” text link, which is located directly below the “Manage Themes” tab.

Step 4: Click the “Choose File” button, find your theme zip file, and click the “Install Now” button.

Step 5: Once the theme has been uploaded, click the “Activate” text link.

You’re done!
